Kaiser roll
A type of crusty bread roll with a star-shaped pattern on top, originally from Austria. Used in Japanese as a loanword for the same bread.
I toasted a Kaiser roll for breakfast and spread butter on it.
Borrowed from German 'Kaiser' (emperor) and English 'roll', referring to the Kaiser roll, a type of bread roll.
