Sports term, especially in handball or water polo, for a throw taken from the corner of the court or pool.

• ハンドボールで、相あい手てチームが最さい後ごに触ふれたボールがゴールラインを割わった場ば合あい、攻こう撃げき側がわにコーナースローが与あたえられる。

  In handball, if the ball last touched by the opposing team goes over the goal line, a corner throw is awarded to the attacking side.
