-seater (vehicle)
Used in compounds to indicate the number of seats in a vehicle, e.g. ツーシーター (two-seater). Not used as a standalone noun for 'seat'.
This car is a five-seater.
Refers to a restaurant staff member who greets and seats guests. Gender-neutral in Japanese, though 'hostess' is a possible English gloss.
The host at the restaurant showed us to our table.
