A net-like hair covering worn at the back of the head, often decorative or for holding hair in place.
She wore a pearl snood at the wedding.
snood (scarf)
A tubular scarf or neck warmer, often worn around the neck or pulled up over the head.
On cold days, I go out with a snood wrapped around my neck.
