The Ptolemaic constellations are the 48 constellations compiled by the ancient Greek astronomer Ptolemy.
From English 'Ptolemy' (トレミー) + 星座 (constellation). The more standard Japanese term uses プトレマイオス, derived from the Greek 'Ptolemaios'.
