Boyle's law
Physics term: at constant temperature, the pressure of a gas is inversely proportional to its volume.
According to Boyle's law, if the temperature is constant, the volume of a gas is inversely proportional to its pressure.
Named after the Anglo-Irish scientist Robert Boyle (1627–1691). The Japanese term is a direct borrowing of the English name plus 法則 (law).
