Saga Rebellion (1874)
A historical uprising led by Etō Shinpei and other former samurai in Saga Prefecture in 1874, early in the Meiji period.
The Saga Rebellion was one of the samurai uprisings of the early Meiji period.
Named after the location of the rebellion, Saga Prefecture (佐賀), combined with 乱 (rebellion).
