Kansai dialect exclamation expressing alarm, dismay, or a sense of crisis. Equivalent to standard Japanese 大変だ or やばい. Often used when something bad or unexpected happens.

• えらいこっちゃ！財さい布ふを忘わすれた！

  Oh no! I forgot my wallet!

• えらいこっちゃ、電でん車しゃが止とまってるで。
