inside leg trip
A sumo technique where the attacker hooks the opponent's lead leg from the inside and pulls it upward to unbalance them.
The yokozuna used an inside leg trip to roll his opponent onto the dohyo.
Standard spelling with regular okurigana.
Irregular okurigana variant; less common.
Compound of 内 (uchi, 'inside') and 掛け (kake, 'hooking'), referring to the inside hooking motion of the technique.
