A stand or holder used to prop up papers or a manuscript for typing, data entry, or reading. Common in office and computing contexts.
When typing, I place the manuscript on the copy holder.
scanner glass; copier glass
The flat glass surface of a scanner or copier where documents are placed for scanning or copying.
