けしかける

Used when someone deliberately provokes or urges another person or animal to take action, often with a negative or aggressive connotation. Can be used for setting a dog on someone or for egging a person on to do something rash.

• 彼かれは弟おとうとをけしかけて、友とも達だちと喧けん嘩かさせた。

  He instigated his younger brother to fight with his friend.

• 犬いぬをけしかけて泥どろ棒ぼうを追おい払はらった。

  He set the dog on the thief and drove him away.
