Kansai dialect word, archaic in standard Japanese. Describes the act of retching or feeling nauseated, often without actually vomiting.

• 朝あさからずっとえずいてる。

  I've been retching since morning.

• その臭においでえずきそうになった。

  The smell almost made me throw up.
