Obsolete term for the pleasant coolness of a summer evening, or the time when it becomes cool. Modern Japanese would use 夕涼み or 夕方の涼しさ.

• 古ふるい文ぶん章しょうに「夕ゆう涼すずを楽たのしむ」という表ひょう現げんが見みられる。

  In old texts, one can find the expression 'enjoy the evening cool'.
