尖とがらす

Used for making something pointed, such as a pencil tip, or for pursing lips. Often interchangeable with 尖らせる.

• 彼かの女じょは不ふ満まんそうに口くちを尖とがらした。

  She pouted her lips in dissatisfaction.

Describes making oneself tense or edgy. Often used with 神経 (nerves).
