Technical term for a cable or wire designed to carry high current or high voltage, as opposed to signal or low-power wiring.
In factories, power lines and low-voltage signal lines are routed separately.
Compound of 強 (strong, high) + 電 (electricity) + 線 (line, wire). The term is a straightforward technical coinage.
