かたがた

incidentally; at the same time; while I'm at it

Used to add a secondary purpose or action to a main one, often in formal or written contexts. Similar to 'ついでに' but more literary.

• 散さん歩ぽかたがた、郵ゆう便びん局きょくに寄よってきた。

  I dropped by the post office while taking a walk.

• ご挨あい拶さつかたがた、新しん製せい品ひんのご案あん内ないを申もうし上あげます。

  While I'm here to greet you, I'd also like to introduce our new product.
