Describes something being mixed or blended into something else. Can be used intransitively (something is mixed in) or transitively (to mix something in). Often used with particles like に or と. Related to 混じる (まじる), but こんじる is a less common variant.
砂に小石が混じっている。
Small stones are mixed in with the sand.
彼は小麦粉に砂糖を混じた。
He mixed sugar into the flour.
