titer; titre
Technical term in chemistry and medicine referring to the concentration of a substance as determined by titration, or the minimum volume of titrant needed to reach the endpoint.
In this experiment, the concentration of the sample is calculated from the titer.
To measure the antibody titer, the serum was serially diluted.
Compound of 滴定 (titration) + 量 (amount, quantity). The term is a direct calque from Western scientific terminology.
