Rare, somewhat archaic term for a temple or shrine visit, often with a sense of devotion. In modern Japanese, お参り (おまいり) or 参拝 (さんぱい) are far more common.

• 昔むかし話ばなしには、村むら人びとが物もの詣もうでに出でかける場ば面めんがよく出でてくる。

  In old tales, scenes of villagers going on a temple visit often appear.

• 「物もの詣もうで」は、現げん代だいではほとんど使つかわれない古ふるい言こと葉ばだ。
