Archaic expression used in the pattern 〜も狭に, meaning that something is so full or crowded that there is barely any room left. Not used in modern Japanese outside of classical or literary contexts.

• 古こ典てんでは「車くるまも狭せに立たち並ならびて」のように使つかわれる。

  In classical texts, it is used like 'carriages lined up so closely there was hardly any space.'
