Historical term referring to land directly governed by the shogunate, as opposed to territories held by daimyo. Used in contexts of Edo-period administration.

• 江え戸ど時じ代だい、幕ばく府ふの直ちょっ轄かつ地ちは天てん領りょうとも呼よばれた。

  During the Edo period, the shogunate's direct holdings were also called tenryō.
