Used to qualify a statement, indicating that the speaker is stating what they know, but may not have complete information. Often followed by では or だと.

• 私わたしの知しる限かぎり、彼かれはまだ来きていません。

  As far as I know, he hasn't arrived yet.

• 知しる限かぎりでは、その計けい画かくは中ちゅう止しになった。

  To the best of my knowledge, that plan has been canceled.
