Obsolete literary term describing a crowd or things clustering together. Used in classical Japanese with 〜と or 〜たる.

• 古ふるい文ぶん献けんに「人ひと々びとが簇そう々そうと集あつまる」とある。

  An old document says 'people gather in swarms'.
