続つづいて

Used as a conjunction to introduce the next event or item in a sequence. Often appears at the beginning of a sentence or clause.

• まず準じゅん備びを整ととのえ、続つづいて本ほん番ばんに移うつった。

  First we got ready, and then we moved on to the main event.

• 続つづいて、次つぎの議ぎ題だいについて話はなし合あいます。

  Next, we will discuss the following agenda item.

Used in the pattern 〜に続いて to mean 'following something' or 'after something'. The preceding noun is the event or thing that comes first.

• 大おお雨あめに続つづいて、洪こう水ずいが発はっ生せいした。

  Following the heavy rain, flooding occurred.

• 前まえの発はっ表ぴょうに続つづいて、次つぎのグループが登とう場じょうした。

  After the previous presentation, the next group appeared.
