form realm; realm of form
In Buddhist cosmology, the second of the three realms (三界), where beings have subtle material bodies and are free from gross desires but still have form. A technical term used in Buddhist texts and discussions.

色界の天人は、物質的な身体を持つが、食欲や性欲はないとされる。
The heavenly beings of the form realm are said to have material bodies but no desires for food or sex.
