見み慣ならす

Archaic transitive verb. In modern Japanese, the intransitive 見慣れる (みなれる) is used instead. This form may appear in classical texts or deliberately old-fashioned writing.

• 古こ語ごでは「見み慣ならす」と書かき、目めに馴な染じませる意いで使つかわれた。

  In classical language, 見慣らす was written and used to mean making something familiar to the eyes.

• その景色けしきは、長なが年ねん見み慣ならしたものだった。

  That scenery was something he had grown accustomed to seeing over many years. (archaic usage)
