Konjin; God of unlucky directions
A deity in Onmyōdō (yin-yang divination) who presides over unlucky directions, especially the northeast. Often contrasted with 歳徳神 (Toshitokujin), the god of the lucky direction. The term is primarily encountered in traditional almanac and directional lore contexts.
