• 上じょう司しが報ほう告こく書しょを閲えっする。

  The boss inspects the report.

• 申しん請せい書しょ類るいを閲えっする必ひつ要ようがある。

  It is necessary to examine the application documents.

Rare, literary usage for the passage of time. The reading けみする is sometimes associated with this sense, but both readings are possible. Modern Japanese more commonly uses 経過する or 過ぎる.

• 年ねん月げつが閲えっする。

  Years pass.

• 多おおくの時ときが閲えっした。

  Much time has elapsed.
