rain haori; wet-weather haori
A traditional Japanese half-coat (haori) made from waterproof material, worn over kimono in rainy weather. Compare with 羽織 (haori), the general term.

雨の日は、着物の上に雨羽織を羽織る。
On rainy days, I wear a rain haori over my kimono.
Compound of 雨 (あま, 'rain') and 羽織 (はおり, 'haori'). The reading あま is a combining form of 雨, and ばおり is a rendaku form of はおり.
