いかんだ・
いかんだ・いかんで・いかんによって formally states that an outcome depends on the nature, quality, content, or result of a particular factor. It is a stiff expression used mainly in institutional writing, policy statements, formal evaluations, and prepared speeches.
What kind of dependence it expresses
The noun names a factor whose exact nature or result determines something else. Suitable nouns therefore include a review result, the success or failure of a project, the content of an application, a person's ability or effort, and an organization's response. The expression does not merely give a cause; it presents the factor as the basis on which the outcome will vary.

For a general statement that one outcome depends on a factor, use いかんで or いかんによって without adding the topic particle.
