と同じで・ と違ってSame as / unlike, followed by a statement
と同じで introduces a property or result shared with a comparison target. と違って introduces a property or result that contrasts with the target.
How the comparison works
The noun before と is the comparison target. The following clause should clearly state what is shared or what is different. The subject being described may appear before the comparison phrase or in the clause after it.

姉と同じで、私も朝型です。
Like my older sister, I am also a morning person.

AnalyzeGeneral sameness versus equal degree
と同じで can introduce a broadly shared feature, behavior, identity, or circumstance. Use と同じくらい when the point is specifically that a measurable degree or level is approximately equal.
