The standard way to say 'give it another try' to someone. The て-form makes it a request or suggestion.

Don't give up, give it another try.
Requesting permission or an opportunity to try again.
Polite request: 'Please let me try again.' Uses causative form やらせて (let me do).

Excuse me, please let me give it another try.
やってみる is the most common and neutral way to say 'try'. 挑戦する implies a challenge or a more determined attempt, often used for tests, competitions, or personal goals.
新しいレシピをやってみる。
I'll try a new recipe.
富士山登頂に挑戦する。
I'll attempt to climb Mt. Fuji.
Avoid directly translating 'another try' as 他のトライ or 別の試み. These sound unnatural. Use the phrases above instead.
I failed the exam, but I plan to give it another try next month.
Casual, using the loanword 'try'. Common in sports, games, or informal situations.
今のシュート外れたけど、もう一回トライする！
I missed that shot, but I'll give it another try!
Direct loanword 'retry'. Used mainly in technical contexts (computers, games) or very casual speech.

A softer suggestion: 'Why don't you give it another try?' Uses 挑戦 (challenge) and the ～たら form for suggestion.
今回はダメだったけど、もう一回挑戦してみたら？
It didn't work out this time, but why don't you give it another try?
Literally 'Please give me one more chance.' Natural when asking for another opportunity.
