「浮く」 is a verb that describes the state of standing out and not blending in, often used for individuals in a group. 「場違い」 is a noun/adjective meaning 'out of place' and can describe both people and things. 「場違いな感じがする」 is a common phrase to express the feeling.
Avoid directly translating 'out of place' as 「場所の外」 or similar. It will not be understood. Use the phrases above to convey the feeling naturally.
