Both express 'serves you right', but ざまあみろ is more direct and often used in casual, sometimes playful contexts. いい気味だ is slightly more restrained and can be used in a wider range of situations.

Literally 'the lump in one's stomach goes down', meaning to feel relieved and satisfied after seeing justice served or a rival fail. A more mature form of gloating.

Seeing the corruption exposed gives me great satisfaction.
To triumphantly boast or act superior after a victory. Has a strong gloating nuance.
