dance, flit, circle, wheel
舞 centers on rhythmic, expressive movement: dancing, flitting about lightly, or moving in circles and wheeling patterns.
舞 originally depicted a person dancing with ornaments or sleeves, later stylized into the modern form with 無 on top and 舛 (opposing feet) at the bottom, suggesting rhythmic footwork.
The top 無 looks like a dancer with outstretched arms, and the bottom 舛 shows two feet stepping in opposite directions. Together, 舞 is a dancer wheeling and flitting across the stage.
For ブ, imagine a dancer moving to a booming drum beat: boom -> ブ, and the dancer's feet (舛) keep time with the rhythm.
