drive, run, gallop, advance, inspire, impel
駆 centers on forceful forward motion: driving something forward, running or galloping, advancing, and metaphorically inspiring or impelling someone to act.
駆 is the modern simplified form of 驅. The older form combines 馬 (horse) with 區, which likely contributed the sound and the idea of driving or urging forward. The modern right side 区 is a simplification.
A horse 馬 on the left and a driving force 区 on the right: picture a horse being driven to run or gallop forward.
For ク, imagine driving a horse so fast it kicks up a cool breeze: cool -> ク, and the horse gallops ahead.
