Casual, enthusiastic interjection used to cheer someone on or express strong approval. Often used by male speakers, but not exclusively.

• 「ゴールを決きめたよ！」「いいぞ！」

  "I scored a goal!" "Way to go!"

• 「この案あんでいこうと思おもう。」「いいぞ、それで行いけ！」

  "I'm thinking of going with this plan." "Sounds good, go for it!"
