Follows the attributive form of a verb or adjective to give a reason or cause, often with an apologetic or explanatory tone. More subjective and softer than ので or から.

• 電でん車しゃが遅おくれたもので、遅ち刻こくしてしまいました。

  The train was late, so I ended up being tardy.

• あまりに美味おいしかったもので、つい食たべ過すぎました。

  It was so delicious that I ended up eating too much.
