Lenz's law
Physics term: the direction of an induced current is such that it opposes the change in magnetic flux that produced it.
Lenz's law is one of the fundamental laws of electromagnetic induction.
コイルに磁石を近づけると、レンツの法則に従って誘導電流が流れる。
When a magnet is brought near a coil, an induced current flows according to Lenz's law.
Named after the German physicist Heinrich Lenz (1804–1865). The Japanese term is a direct borrowing of the German name plus 法則 (law).
