godan verb (-su)
Kansai dialect verb meaning to include someone in a group or activity, or to let someone in. Equivalent to standard Japanese 入れる or 仲間に入れる.

Archaic sense meaning to bring something or someone close. Not used in modern Japanese; replaced by 寄せる or 近づける.
古文では「舟を岸に寄す」のように使われた。
In classical Japanese, it was used like 'to bring a boat close to the shore'.
