Used at the beginning of a sentence to express a conjecture or inference based on available information. Often followed by a clause stating what the speaker supposes.

• 察さっするに、彼かれはもうその話はなしを知しっているのだろう。

  Presumably, he already knows about that matter.

• 察さっするに、会かい議ぎは長なが引びくと思おもう。

  I suppose the meeting will run long.
