尊そん公こう

Archaic polite second-person pronoun, also used to refer to someone's father. In modern Japanese, あなた or お父様 are used instead.

• 古こ文ぶん書しょには「尊そん公こうのご意い見けんを伺うかがいたい」といった表ひょう現げんが見みられる。

  In old documents, expressions like 'I would like to hear your opinion, sir' can be found.

• 「尊そん公こうはご健けん在ざいか」と尋たずねるのは、相あい手ての父ちち親おやを敬うやまう古ふるい言いい方かただ。

  Asking 'Is your father in good health?' using 尊公 is an old-fashioned way of showing respect to the listener's father.
