直ちょく入にゅう

entering directly; going straight in

Often used in the set phrase 単刀直入 (tantōchokunyū, 'cutting to the chase'), but can appear independently in formal or written contexts for entering a place or topic without preliminaries.

  He went straight into the topic without any preamble.
