Expresses that something happens as a final result or conclusion, often after a process or delay. Similar to 結局 but slightly more colloquial.

• 色いろ々いろ考かんがえたけど、しまいに最さい初しょの案あんに戻もどった。

  I thought about many things, but in the end I went back to the first idea.

• 彼かれはしまいに謝あやまった。

  He finally apologized.
