Chinese sesame paste
A thick paste made from roasted sesame seeds, used in Chinese and Japanese-Chinese dishes like tantanmen and shabu-shabu dipping sauces. Not the same as Japanese 練りごま (nerigoma), which is pure sesame paste without added oil.
