A traditional fair held at Ōtori Shrine and other shrines on each Day of the Rooster in November, known for selling kumade (bamboo rakes) for good luck.
毎年十一月の酉の日には、浅草の酉の市に行きます。
Every year on the Day of the Rooster in November, I go to the Tori-no-Ichi fair in Asakusa.
酉 (rooster) + の (possessive particle) + 市 (market/fair). Named after the Day of the Rooster in the traditional calendar when the fair is held.
