Ground Staff Office
The administrative and command organ of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF), equivalent to an army general staff office.
The Ground Staff Office is responsible for the defense capability development of the JGSDF.
According to an announcement by the Ground Staff Office, the exercise will be held next month.
Compound of 陸上 (rikujō, 'ground, land') + 幕僚監部 (bakuryōkanbu, 'staff office'). The term follows the naming pattern of the three Self-Defense Force staff offices.
