Food Agency
A former Japanese government agency responsible for food supply and distribution, especially rice. Replaced by the 農林水産省 (Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries) in 2003.
食糧庁は2003年に廃止され、その業務は農林水産省に引き継がれた。
