Food Agency
A former Japanese government agency responsible for food supply and distribution, especially rice. Replaced by the 農林水産省 (Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries) in 2003.
The Food Agency was abolished in 2003, and its operations were taken over by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
