Used when a child is being obedient, well-mannered, or not causing trouble. Often used in the imperative or as a request.

• お母かあさんが来くるまで、いい子こにしていてね。

  Be a good child until Mom comes, okay?

• 今日きょうは一いち日にち中じゅういい子こにしていた。

  I was well-behaved all day today.
