manner; style; way of doing

Colloquial suffix attached to the continuative form of verbs or to nouns, expressing the manner or style in which something is done. Similar to ぶり but more casual and emphatic.

• 彼かれの飲のみっぷりはすごいね。

  His way of drinking is impressive, isn't it?

• あの選せん手しゅの走はしりっぷりは本ほん当とうにきれいだ。

  That athlete's running style is really beautiful.
